this particular coleslaw ruts has so far resulted in sriracha coleslaw (soon to come) and this particular blue cheese coleslaw. the addition of the celery tops added a nice 'buffalo wings' feel to the whole dish without adding too much crunch, so if you can, be sure to buy celery with leafy tops.
Blue Cheese Cole Slaw
1 Head of Cabbage
1/2 head of Celery ( the Top half with the leaves)
1 Bunch Green Onions
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
3/4 Cup Blue Cheese Dressing
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon black Pepper
1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
2 Teaspoons Salt
Cut Cabbage into quarters, then slice thinly and add to a large bowl. dice celery, starting at the leafy end and add to the bowl with the cabbage.
peel the carrots and slice longways four times, then dice finely and add to bowl.
mix in the remaining ingredients into the bowl and toss. serve immediately if needed. flavors are even more melded if refrigerated overnight.
